RED’s Hydrogen One phone is finally here after a handful of delays and arrives at AT&T and Verizon this week. On November 2, you’ll be able to buy this phone with its holographic display if you are willing to spend $1,295.
Should you buy one? I don’t think so, no. Tim’s review of it is what you should read if you are actually considering this phone. He doesn’t hold back, points out the few good qualities, as well as the many bad.
Both AT&T and Verizon will let you buy this bad boy on monthly payment plans. AT&T’s 30-month plan drops the phone to $43.17 per month, while Verizon’s 24-month plan is $53.95 per month. That’s a hefty amount of coin for what we can really only describe as an unfinished product.
