Deal: Woot Has Refurbished Google Assistant-Compatible LIFX Smart Bulbs Starting At $14.99 – October 2018

Woot is currently blowing out a slew of LIFX smart bulbs. These are all refurbished bulbs, so that they aren’t brand new, and that is why they are much cheaper. LIFX bulbs do not get discounted often, or really at all. So if you were looking to pick up some new smart bulbs for your home, or expand your LIFX collection, now is definitely the time to do so. As always with Woot products, these will sell out fast, so you’re going to want to pick these up before they are gone.

Included in this deal over at Woot, is the LIFX Mini lineup of smart bulbs. The LIFX White Mini bulb is on sale starting at $14.99. That is for a single bulb, now you can also pick up a four pack for $49.99, which is actually a better deal, as you would save $10 over buying four of these bulbs individually. These are still A19 bulbs, but they aren’t as bright. The “Mini” series are equivalent to 60W, while the regular LIFX bulbs are about 75W. So if you don’t mind the 60W brightness, then the Mini series is definitely worth picking up. The multicolor Mini bulb is also on sale for $29.99, or you can get a four pack for $109.99. Now if you are wanting brighter bulbs, the LIFX A19 is priced at $39.99 each which is $10 off of its regular price, or you can get a four pack for $149.99. Now there is also the newer LIFX+ A19 bulb here that is priced at $59.99 each, or you can get a four pack for $219.99. The LIFX + A19 is a newer generation of the LIFX bulb, so it’s going to last longer. There is also the BR30 bulbs, which are mostly meant for use outside as floodlights. This is priced at $39.99 for a single bulb or $149.99 for a pack of four. There is also a night-vision BR30 bulb, which is slightly more at $59.99 each or $219.99 for four. Finally, the LIFX Z LED Strip is also on sale, for $19.99, or you can get a four pack for $69.99. With the LIFX Z, you can connect these together, and make it a very long LED strip of lights

These are refurbished bulbs, so they aren’t brand new, and may not last as long as a brand new bulb. But they are discounted quite nicely, which is actually a surprise for LIFX bulbs, since they really never drop in price. These bulbs do not require a hub, each bulb has WiFi connectivity built-in. So you will be able to add them to your home in the LIFX app (available on Android and iOS). Within the app, you can group different bulbs by room and even by home. So if you have bulbs in your home and then more in a garage or maybe your parents home, you can control them together or separately using the app.

Woot does offer free shipping, but only for Amazon Prime members, and with Prime you will get two-day shipping on most items. So if you are not an Amazon Prime member, you will need to pay a flat fee for shipping, which is generally around $5 but it will vary based on the product. Although you can also opt to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime and still get free shipping here. So that’s a great way to get around it, just remember to cancel your trial before it expires, or you’ll be paying $119 each year – which really isn’t a bad price if you do order from Amazon quite often. Woot does not charge taxes either, which is pretty good for those that want a great deal.
