The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is finally available in stores, and Verizon is offering a pretty sweet deal on the new device. It is offering a BOGO sale on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Allowing customers to pick up two Pixel 3 smartphones for the price of one. As always, there are a couple of caveats here, which include the fact that you will need to add at least one line to your account to take advantage of this deal. So this is targeted more at those looking to switch, or those that already want to add another line. It’s also really only a BOGO on the smaller Pixel 3. The thing is, Verizon is only offering up to $799 in credits here, which is the price of the regular Pixel 3. So if you are buying one of each, the Pixel 3 XL will be $929 and the Pixel 3 will be free. But that is only after 24 monthly bill credits. Which means you also need to stick with Verizon for the full two years to get the full amount. And if you buy two Pixel 3 XL’s, you’ll be getting the second for $130 instead of free. Which is still a good price, but not quite “free”.
Google announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL last week, after many leaks surfaced about the device. The two devices are pretty similar, aside from the display and battery size. With the Pixel 3 sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display and a 2915mAh capacity battery, and the Pixel 3 XL having a larger 6.3-inch Quad HD+ OLED display and a 3430mAh capacity battery inside. Otherwise, both are sporting the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage inside. They are also running on Android 9 Pie, and feature the best camera currently available. Google has a single 12-megapixel sensor on the back once again, and it is still beating many of the other smartphones out there. On the front, there are two 8-megapixel sensors, with the second one being a wide-angle sensor that sports a 97-degree field-of-view.
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are only being sold at Verizon, as far as carriers go. So if you are on Verizon, then this is a pretty good deal. But if you are not, you’ll want to order from Google, as the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are compatible with all four US carriers. And if you aren’t planning on switching to Verizon, this deal makes no sense to take advantage of. It’s unfortunate, but this is why Verizon is the exclusive carrier for the Pixel, as it is going to be marketing the device quite heavily.
This is sold by Verizon and will have free overnight shipping for new and existing customers. Allowing you to get your device pretty quickly. Of course, you can also go to your local Verizon store and pick it up as well. Verizon does charge taxes on devices, and if you are doing it through a payment plan, the taxes will be due today, even if you do qualify for the $0 down on this new device.
