The OnePlus 6T is expected to arrive in Q4 this year, and the device has just got certified by the EEC in Russia. EEC stands for Eurasian Economic Commission, as most of you know, and that organization is headquartered in Moscow. In any case, if you check out the notification listing down below, you will notice that this certification regards ‘notifications and specifications’, and that it dates back to August 24.
This certification may regard notifications and specifications, but it’s definitely in regards to a OnePlus handset, or ‘subscriber terminal’, as the document refers to it. The model of this handset is ‘A6013’, and that’s pretty much all the info that this document reveals. OnePlus is expected to announce a single smartphone by the end of this year, so there’s no real mystery here as to what device we’re looking here. This is actually a quad-band version of the phone, both European and North American unit. Now, if we delve deeper, and check out model numbers of the company’s previous device. The OnePlus 5 arrived with an ‘A5000’ model number, the 5T followed with ‘A5010’ model number, while the 6 came with an ‘A6000’ model number for Asian, India, and China, and ‘A6003’ for Europe and North America, which is why it’s kind of obvious that the model of the 6T that surfaced on EEC is for Europe and North America.
There’s not much info out regarding the 6T thus far, but the phone will probably resemble the OPPO R17 quite a bit in terms of the design. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, and it will sport a tiny notch, just like the OPPO R17. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, while it will pack in 6GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on the model. The device will include a 6.4-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display, while it will ship with either Android 8.1 Oreo or Android 9 Pie (probably the latter) with OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin on top of it.
