The OnePlus 6T will probably arrive sometime in the fourth quarter this year, and the first OnePlus 6T concept design has just surfaced. This concept design comes from the ‘Science and Knowledge’ YouTube channel, and it should not be confused with a leak or something of the sort, as this is a third-party design seemingly inspired by the Vivo NEX, it actually looks like a cross between the Vivo NEX and the OnePlus 6. Having said that, it is possible that the OnePlus 6T ends up looking like the Vivo NEX, but we’ll just have to wait and see what will happen.
If you take a look at the video which is embedded down below, you will be able to see a smartphone which is made out of metal and glass, which sports extremely thin bezels, and a really thin ‘chin’ below the display. This handset, much like the Vivo NEX, sports a pop-up camera, though that camera is centered on this phone, and it seems like there are two sensors included there. The display on the device sports rounded corners, and the back side of the phone is curved. Interestingly enough, the designer decided to include three cameras on the back of this phone, while a fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be found, at least not a capacitive one, that’s because this phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The volume up and down buttons are located on the left-hand side of the phone, while an alert slider is located above them. The power / lock key can be found on the right, while the OnePlus logo sits on the back of this concept smartphone.
Along with this design, the source also shared some imaginary specs for this OnePlus 6T concept. The phone features a 6.4-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) AMOLED display, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone with OnePlus’ OxygenOS, while the device features 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of native storage. The designer envisioned 8, 16 and 20-megapixel rear-facing cameras for this phone, and two 16-megapixel selfie shooters, while facial recognition is also included.
