Moto G6 Play & Z3 Play Join Amazon’s Lineup of Prime Exclusive Smartphones

Amazon announced today that it is adding a couple of new smartphones to its existing lineup of Prime devices. That includes the Moto G6 Play and Moto Z3 Play. These are two of Motorola’s newest smartphones, and they are going to be available to Amazon Prime customers for a slight discount. The Moto G6 Play is being priced at $189 which is $10 off of its regular price, while the Moto Z3 Play is priced at $449, down from $499. Those are some pretty decent deals, and you get these prices simply for being an Amazon Prime customer. Amazon got rid of the lockscreen ads on these smartphones earlier this year, so the only difference is having a handful of Amazon apps pre-installed.

The Moto G6 Play is a mid-range smartphone, it does have a 18:9 aspect ratio display, coming in at around 5.7-inches, with a HD+ resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 chipset along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It’s a pretty decent smartphone for under $200, and it does all of the essentials for a smartphone, but not much more than that. And for under $200, that’s all you really need anyways. Now the Moto Z3 Play is a bit more high-end. It sports a 6-inch full HD+ display (also a 18:9 aspect ratio here), along with the Snapdragon 636 under the hood with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of storage available. There’s a 3000mAh battery included here, and the main selling point on the Moto Z3 Play is the incredible battery life, but also the fact that it works with the Moto Mods – and every Moto Z3 Play comes with the Moto Mod Power Pack, giving you even more battery to use on the go.

Both of these smartphones are available for pre-order right now on Amazon and will be launching next Friday, June 29. So if you’re looking for a new smartphone, either of these are great options. Additionally, both of these work with all four US carriers – AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon – so no matter which carrier you use, these will work with your carrier. Just pop in your SIM and you’re good to go.
