Google Adds Three More Phones To Project Fi

Google has added three more phones to Project Fi today, though only one is available for pre-order at the moment and that’s the Moto G6. Alongside the Moto G6, Project Fi customers will also have the choice of buying the LG G7 ThinQ and the LG V35 ThinQ when the phones are made available which Google says will be sometime in June, albeit without mentioning a specific date for the release or the pre-order status. That said, even with a bit of a wait this is still a good thing for prospective Fi customers as it gives them even more choice when selecting a phone to go with the new service.

Those looking to go for the Moto G6 will also save a little bit of money if purchased through Project Fi when setting things up, as the phone will cost $199 instead of the regular retail price of $249. Under $200 for a very capable smartphone with decent specs isn’t bad, as it mirrors the value of Project Fi itself, but those wanting something more high-end in the LG G7 ThinQ or the just-announced LG V35 ThinQ will also have to spend high-end price tag amounts.

The G7 ThinQ on Fi will be $749, and the V35 ThingQ on Fi will be $899, making it the most expensive of the three new phones and just shy of being the most expensive phone out of all those offered through the service, a label that is currently held by the Pixel 2 XL with 128GB of storage which can be picked up for $949. The Moto G6 will be available to Fi customers in Super Black, while the LG G7 ThinQ will come in two of the colors that were announced by LG – Moroccan Blue and Aurora Black. The LG V35 ThinQ meanwhile, will be available in two colors as well, which are Aurora Black and Platinum Gray.
