Mitsubishi Re-Model A Concept at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show

Looking at the Mitsubishi Re-Model A, you might first think that you accidentally stumbled upon an antique car show. Featuring an extremely old-school, crank car design, the Mitsubishi Re-Model A Concept was the brand’s way to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The brand teamed up with West Coast Customs in order to create its very first 1917 production vehicle, the Model A. And while the concept model may look old-fashioned, it’s actually anything but. The Re-Model A was built on the same platform as the technologically-advanced Outlander PHEV, adding modern-day technologies to the 1917 design. It offers everything from the brand’s Super All-Wheel Control, plug-in power capabilities, forward-collision mitigation and smartphone display audio for a perfect blend of past and present.
