Remember that class action lawsuit against LG about bootloop issues that affected the G4, G5, V10, V20, and Nexus 5X? It looks like a resolution may have been reached.
A website from law firm Girard Gibbs was spotted today that mentioned a settlement in the LG bootloop class action lawsuit. With the settlement, those affected by the bootloop issue could get either $425 cash or a $700 rebate toward a new LG phone.
Members of the class action lawsuit were told to fill out a proof of claim form by February 12, 2018. However, the website appears to be down right now, and it’s unclear when it might be back.
It’s good to see a settlement come of this LG class action lawsuit, especially since the bootlooping affected so many of the company’s flagship smartphones. Did you ever have one of the phones included in this lawsuit?
