Evan Blass has just shared the very first Samsung Galaxy S9 wallpaper. If you’re eager to get the Galaxy S9, and you’re into wallpapers in general, well, this one may be worth checking out. If you take a look at the provided image down below, you will be able to check out this wallpaper yourself, and it’s somewhat different from most of the wallpapers that shipped on the Galaxy S8. In any case, this is just a first taste of what’s coming, and we’re sure that more wallpapers from the Galaxy S9 will surface before the phone gets announced next month.
It’s worth noting that this wallpaper was included in the renders that Mr. Blass (aka @evleaks) shared the other day, renders of both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. So, it seems like this will be a default wallpaper on both phones. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will be announced on February 25 in Barcelona, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Thanks to a number of leaks and rumors that we’ve seen thus far, we pretty much know what to expect from the two devices. The two phones will look identical in terms of the design, save for the size difference, and the fact that the Galaxy S9 Plus will probably ship with two cameras on the back, compared to the Galaxy S9’s single camera. Both phones will be made out of metal and glass, while both will sport a curved display, and very thin bezels, though it seems like the top bezel will be thicker than the bottom one on both phones.
The Galaxy S9 is expected to ship with a 5.8-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) Super AMOLED Infinity display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. A 12-megapixel shooter (adjustable aperture f/1.5 – f/2.4) with OIS will be included on the back of the phone, while an 8-megapixel snapper will be placed on the front side of the device. A 3,000mAh non-removable battery will be included inside of this phone as well, while Android 8.0 Oreo will ship out of the box. The Galaxy S9 Plus will ship with a 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. A 3,500mAh non-removable battery will be included inside of this phone, while you will be able to find two 12-megapixel snappers on its back. Both phones will ship in two SoC variants, the Exynos 9810 will fuel these two phones in Europe and some other markets, while the US will get the Snapdragon 845 variants.
