The Moto Z2 Force is now available for purchase by interested consumers from the UK carrier Vodafone. To buy the device, subscribers may proceed to the carrier’s website, where they could also select a postpaid plan for the handset. One of the cheaper options for consumers is the Essentials Plan, which will cost the user £28 monthly and an upfront payment of £150. It comes with 500MB of data, 500 minutes and calls and unlimited texts. Another option for the subscriber is the Red Extra plan, which has monthly payments of £38 and no upfront costs. This plan comes with 4GB of monthly data allocation, unlimited call minutes, and unlimited texts. For those who need higher data requirements, Vodafone also offers the Red Entertainment plan, which includes 8GB of data, unlimited calls, and unlimited texts, for £44 a month and no upfront payments. Vodafone will also give away free JBL Soundboost 2, Gamepad, and Turbopower Pack Mods for free to people who will purchase the Moto Z2 Force.
The Moto Z2 Force was unveiled in July 2017, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, which is comprised of an octa-core Kryo 64-bit CPU and the Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone sports of a 5.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels. The Moto ShatterShield technology protects the display from being shattered when dropped. Directly below the screen is the fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The international variant of the smartphone contains 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal flash storage that can be expanded by a microSD card with capacities of up to 2TB.
On the back of the device, users may find the POGO pins, which serves to connect the Moto Mods to the Moto Z2 Force. Aside from the free Moto Mods that the carrier will give to its customers, people may also purchase the other Moto mods that the manufacturer offers including the Insta-share projector, Moto 360 camera, and the Moto Style Shell. To keep the lights on, the handset contains a 2,730mAh battery and it supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast device top-ups. The dual rear cameras have two 12-megapixel sensors and dual-LED flash while the front-facing snapper has a 5-megapixel shooter. The device ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-installed, although the manufacturer has incorporated a few additional features and apps that should improve the user experience of the device.
