2018 Honda Accord Fuel Economy Ratings
Fuel economy ratings are an important factor many car shoppers consider when looking at new vehicles. The newest version of the Honda Accord has made its debut, and the 2018 Honda Accord fuel economy ratings will vary based on multiple factors.
New Accord Base Engine MPG Numbers
The fuel economy ratings for the 2018 Accord will vary based on which engine option is selected, and the transmission the engine is paired with. Two turbocharged four-cylinder engine options will be offered on the 2018 Accord; a 1.5-liter engine, and a 2.0-liter.
The 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine will be offered with either a 6-speed manual transmission, or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). 2018 Accord models that come equipped with the 2.0-liter engine will offer either a 6-speed manual, or the new 10-speed automatic.

When equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission, the 1.5-liter Accord will earn up to 26 miles per gallon in the city and 35 mpg on the highways for 30 mpg combined. LX, EX, EX-L and EX-L Navi models equipped with the 1.5-liter engine and the CVT are rated at up to 30 city/38 highway/33 combined mpg. Sport and Touring trim levels equipped with the CVT and the 1.5-liter engine are rated at 29 city/35 highway/31 combined mpg.*
Fuel economy ratings for the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine are not yet available. Honda is anticipating ratings at up to 23 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highways. These numbers are targets only and not the final official EPA ratings.
