Sprint to bundle Hulu with Unlimited Freedom plan beginning November 17

Bundling third-party services into a wireless carrier plan is certainly starting to become a trend, and Sprint doesn’t want to miss the bandwagon.

Announced today, Sprint has confirmed that it will be bundling the Hulu’s Limited Commercials service with its Unlimited Freedom plan. The offer will be available for both new and existing customers and it will go live on Friday, November 17. It’s an opt-in situation, so if you’re on the eligible plan you’ll need to visit Sprint’s website to activate it.

The Hulu plan normally costs $7.99 per month, so it’s the basic tier which includes a limited amount of commercials while streaming content.

We’ve seen similar offers from other carriers: Netflix is bundled with T-Mobile and AT&T includes a subscription to HBO with its unlimited plan. Verizon has its own go90 service, but it hasn’t started offering a service like Hulu or Netflix yet.

Will this Hulu bundle be enough to get you to switch to Sprint?
