Report: LG V30 To Launch In India Next Month For $742

It seems like the LG V30 will launch in India next month, at least according to the source. Phone Radar released this info, and it is based off an info that has been provided by an unnamed source, and that source even shared the pricing info for the handset. Once it arrives to India, the LG V30 will cost Rs. 47,990 ($742), if the provided info is to be believed, of course, as LG did not confirm this info, nor did the company start teasing the launch event just yet. Now, the source also claims that the company will provide the B&O Play headset in India with every LG V30 purchase.

The LG V30 is, as most of you probably already know, LG’s current flagship handset. This device was announced back in August, and it is currently available in some regions, but it took LG quite a bit of time to make it available, so it’s not exactly surprising that it’s not available in India just yet. The LG V30 is made out of metal and glass, and it sports really thin bezels all around. This smartphone actually comes with a dual camera setup on the back, while its fingerprint scanner is placed below those two cameras. The LG V30 is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, while the MIL-STD-810G rating is also a part of this package. This phone also comes with a 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and wireless charging is also included here. This handset sports a 6-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440) P-OLED display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, though a model of the device with 128GB of storage is also available out there, and it’s called the LG V30 Plus, though that variant probably won’t make its way to India.

The LG V30 comes with 16 and 13-megapixel shooters on the back, and its main snapper sports an f/1.6 aperture. This handset comes with both OIS and EIS, while chances are that a dual SIM model of the phone will become available in India. A 5-megapixel shooter is placed on the front side of this smartphone, and a 3,300mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package. Android 7.1.2 Nougat comes pre-installed on this smartphone, while LG’s UX 6.0 user interface is placed on top of it.
