If T-Mobile couldn’t convince you to switch with a free Netflix subscription, and Sprint couldn’t sway you with access to Hulu, what about an Amazon Prime subscription?
T-Mobile is of course getting credit for this one, too, considering MetroPCS is the Un-carrier’s prepaid brand. Customers that switch over to MetroPCS will be gifted a subscription to Amazon Prime for their troubles. It’s only a subscription for a year, though, so keep that in mind.
The promotion begins today, November 16, and according to T-Mobile it will only be around for a limited time. Switchers will also a Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.
To be eligible, you’ll need to switch to MetroPCS and sign up for one of the company’s unlimited LTE plans. There are two to choose from: The $50 per month option includes unlimited talk, text, and LTE data. Video streaming is capped at 480p and you won’t get a mobile hotspot option, either. The other plan is priced at $60 per month, which includes all the same features of the other plan as well as 10GB of LTE hotspot usage on your phone.
If you’re curious about the Galaxy J7 Prime, it features a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, Android 7.0 Nougat, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The battery measures in at 3300mAh.
