Woot, today is selling off a ton of Amazon Echo’s. The retailer has priced a slew of “new” Amazon Echo’s at just $79.99, which is actually their lowest price ever. The Amazon Echo just got a successor, which is launching later this month, so it appears that Woot is looking to clear stock with this sale. The Amazon Echo will still continue to work for quite some time, seeing as Alexa doesn’t really get updates, it just gets even more skills – and when it does get updates, it’s through the app. So if you’ve been looking to grab yourself an Amazon Echo, now is a great time to pick one up and get started with Alexa.
Now that the new Pixel 2 is announced and up for pre-order (with some pretty long wait times), the Pixel is dropping in price. You can pick up the previous generation Pixel smartphones for as low as $399. This is still a good deal for those that need a new smartphone, considering it will continue to get updates for around 2 more years (typically 3 years from its debut). And it does already have Android 8.0.0 Oreo, which is the latest version of Android, and hardly any other smartphone has it right now.
In the world of smart homes, there are also some good deals going on today. The Wemo Mini Smart Plug is still on sale, it’s $5 off of its regular price, bringing it down to just $29.99. It’s a great way to get started on making your home a bit smarter. On top of that, you’ll find some great discounts on iRobot’s latest Roomba robot vacuums, discounts on Nest’s new cameras and much more.
All of the deals listed below that have expirations dates expire at midnight PST on their respective dates. So if you are looking to pick one of these up, you’ll want to do so before midnight PST.
