All of us has experienced some tingling sensation in our limbs. It is due to interrupted blood flow and if we move our limbs a bit, the tingling sensation will be gone. But if that tingling sensation lasts longer it might be caused by something more serious. Today we are going to tell you some of the main causes for this problem.
Cervical osteochondrosis
This is caused by an alteration of the cervical spine; a compression of the nerves interrupts the blood flow. So you must visit the doctor because if it is left untreated it might cause you even greater problems.
Multiple sclerosis
This disease destroys the nerve membranes of the spinal cord and the brain and this leads to interruption of the nerve impulses which causes numbness and tingling sensation in the limbs. This is a serious illness and you should visit your doctor.
Carpal tunnel syndrome
This is a syndrome which is present in people who work in repetitive motions with their hands like programmers, designers, musicians, etc. The tendons in the narrow channel of the tunnel in the hands are inflamed and this causes the tingling sensation. If you want to avoid more serious problems, then you should visit your doctor.
Venous thrombosis
This is a condition in which the blood flow is slowed and the oxygen is cut. If you leave it untreated it might lead to gangrene.
Anemia and diabetes
Both of them are serious illnesses and you should visit your doctor.
Brachial plexus neuralgia
It is a condition caused by inflammation and it causes tingling sensation and numbness.
Stroke
