2017 Ford Fusion Horsepower and Torque Ratings
2.5-liter 4-Cyl – This is the standard engine in the Ford Fusion S and SE trim level. It sends 175 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque to front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.
1.5-liter Turbocharged EcoBoost® 4-Cyl – This available engine is offered in the Ford Fusion SE trim and is capable of putting out 181 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission that includes paddle shifters and automatic engine stop-start technology to help increase fuel efficiency.
2.0-liter Turbocharged EcoBoost® V6 – This engine is available on the SE trim level and is standard when choosing the Ford Fusion Titanium and Platinum trims. It is capable of offering up to 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard while the traction control of all-wheel drive is optional.
2.7-liter Turbocharged EcoBoost® V6 – This engine is only available when choosing the new 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport trim. It is capable of delivering an incredible 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission is standard with this engine choice.
