Samsung has officially announced it will host a Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. The invitation for the event is pretty straightforward with what it’s going to announce: showing a border with no bezels on the sides, and minimal bezels on the top and bottom, with the phrase “Do bigger things” inside. There’s also a blue stylus, just in case the hint wasn’t clear enough.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to plenty of praise from both owners and reviewers. But now a lot of attention has been placed on the back half of 2017, when Samsung is expected to launch the followup to last year’s Galaxy Note 7.
This year will likely see the arrival of the Galaxy Note 8, which should cruise along with plenty of the momentum that the Galaxy S8 brought Samsung earlier this year but also add a few new tricks for good measure. For those of you out there who have been waiting to hear when Samsung will announce the newest flagship phone, the wait is over.
So, August 23 is when we’ll see the Galaxy Note 8 unveiled. Are you looking forward to it?
