Honda Fit Makes its 2018 Debut



2018 Honda Fit Updates and New Features

The latest version of the Honda Fit has started arriving at dealerships everywhere. Several 2018 Honda Fit updates and new features have been added for the new model year.

2018 Honda Fit Engine Performance

Powering the 2018 Honda Fit is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The performance numbers on this engine check in at 130 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with either a continuously variable transmission, or a six-speed manual.

New Features and Options

There have been multiple changes that have been made to the Fit for the new model year. A new Sport trim level has been added to the car’s lineup. The Fit Sport model adds an aero-form front spoiler and rear diffuser, orange pin-stripping, chrome exhaust-pipe finisher and side sill garnishes, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with gloss-black finish and a black interior with orange contrast stitching.

2018 Honda Fit models are now available in two exterior colors, Helios Yellow and Orange Fury.

The new Fit will also now offer the Honda Sensing® suite of features on all trim levels. This system will be standard on the EX trim levels and above. Honda Sensing® includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS™), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

Fit Sport, EX and EX-L models will also now offer a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen system that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
