Our back suffers from a lot of sitting. Most of us sit most of the time at work, we forget to exercise, or we are bored to exercise and want to achieve miracles by night. But, today is the day to do something else, to do something different. The spine is very important part of our body and it keeps our body supported and straight. But, it won’t work well if we don’t pay attention to it.
Yoga is one of the physical activities that might be the best of all that can help you to bring your back in a good shape. Remember one thing, if you don’t do anything to prevent that, the pain might get bigger, you will feel problems with the muscles, discs, joints, bones…
Exercise might be the best answer to these problems. Yoga teacher Vytas Baskauskas advises some yoga exercise that lasts two minutes only, and the results will come fast.
You need an exercise mat and some strap. Don’t forget that breathing is one of the most important things in exercising yoga. Breathing will help you feel better, relax the body and stress.
And here is the exercise:
Lie on your back with your knees lifted and the feet on the ground. Put the arms by your side and take a deep breath. Feel the spine touching the floor. Take the strap, and wrap around the right foot. With both arms straight but not very tight hold the strap, take the right leg and take a deep breath and do the same with the left leg. Then, go back to the right leg and put the left leg down straight so you will touch the ground with the heel. After that, give yourself a nice leg hug, to stretch a bit because it is very important for your back.
Don’t forget to breathe right! It is easy as you can imagine! Try it!
