Android Pay is quickly spreading to new countries lately, like Russia and Canada. Starting today, the latest country to get the mobile payment service is Taiwan.
It’s launching with support for CTBC and First Bank, with more banks coming soon. Bank support at launch is always limited when it comes to new countries, so you may have to wait for your favorite bank to partner with Google. Three banks have already been announced as coming soon.
When it comes to support for stores, any store with a contactless payment terminal can accept Android Pay. Many apps also support Android Pay for quick checkout. Hit the source link for the full list.
