10 Vegetables & Herbs You Can Eat Once & Regrow Forever



There are a lot of vegetables and herbs that aren’t expensive but we are using them on a daily basis so why not grow them at home? We are going to present you some vegetables and herbs that you can regrow forever.

Carrot greens

Put the carrot greens in a small amount of water by the window and you will have carrot green to use whenever you need.

Garlic

Put the sprouted cloves in a glass container with some water in it. In this way, you can grow your own garlic sprouts which are great for pasta and salads.

Scallions

From the scraps, you can grow your own scallion. They should be one inch attached to the roots and placed in some water. In a few days, you will have your own scallions.

Basil

Place a few 4-inch basil clippings stems in some water on a direct sunlight. The roots should be 2 inches when you need to place them in a pot with soil.

Romaine lettuce

You need an intact stem from the head of the lettuce. Put it into a dish with half of inch of water by the window. The first new leaves you will see in 2 weeks.

Onion

Plant the root in a pot or directly in soil if you have a garden. The bulb should be completely developed.

Bok Choy

You can regrow bok choy in the same way like romaine lettuce.

Ginger

Put the ginger root in soil and in 8 to 10 months you will have your own ginger.

Mushrooms

For mushrooms, you need moist environments and cool during the night. Just put the stalks in soil and add some compost.

Cilantro

If you put the stems into water, they will grow roots and you can plant them into a pot.
