Please note, all percentages are calculated by the Daily Sales Rate (DSR), which takes into account the number of days in the month that dealerships could sell cars. March 2017 had 27 selling days, March 2016 had 27 selling days.
Despite a negative end to the month, Lexus sales in the USA have rebounded somewhat after a difficult start to the year. This can be attributed to better SUV availability due to increased inventory, with only the RX seeing a minor drop in sales.
Car sales are now the elephant in the room — there’s simply no way to sugarcoat the freefall that’s happening across the industry.
