Coachella is just one week away and the party calendar is filling up quickly! Even if you couldn’t score tickets to the fest, you can still hit up the parties. Here’s a quick round-up of a few not-to-be missed Coachella parties for 2017:
1) Young Turks in Palm Springs
To kick off Coachella weekend, Goldenvoice and FYF presents Young Turks in Palm Springs are hosting a Coachella pre-party at the Palm Springs Air Museum on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 9 p.m.
Get your Coachella weekend started early with a dance party featuring Ben UFO, Four Tet, Francis & the Lights, Jamiexx, Kamaiyah, Sampha, and special guest PNL. Doors open at 8 p.m. This event is 21+.
2) Day Club at The Hilton Palm Springs
Day Club returns to Palm Springs for yet another year with a three-day loaded music pool party. This event will run Friday through Sunday both weekends of Coachella, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Hilton Palm Springs.
This year’s weekend one line up will include Nicky Romero, an Owsla pool party hosted by Skrillex and friends, and Sound Nightclub with special guests to be announced. While weekend two features Mad Decent, Madeon, and Dillon Francis. This event is 21 +.
3) The Riviera Palm Springs
The Riviera Palm Springs is opening the gates of its pool to festival-goers and locals alike for weekend pool parties from 11am to 4pm for weekend 1+2.
Cabana and daybed rentals are available in advance – score a 50% discount if you reserve by April 7th. There is no cover charge.
4) Saguaro Resort & Spa
Saguaro Resort & Spa will be hosting different events each day during both weekends of Coachella. Friday’s event is Gitano Desert Gypsy Disco from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with sounds by Gina Calderoni, Henry Pope, Loboman, Marlon Fuentes, Massio, SABIO, plus surprise special guest Jeremy Sole, KCRW/ Worldwide FM.
Weekend one Saturday’s event has The Prescription Pool Party from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with sounds by Dr. Fresch, Hotel Garuda, Point Point, plus surprise special guests.
Weekend one Sunday’s event Brunch Eats & Beats runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and includes sounds by Modern Disco Ambassadors, Audiostache, Daniel Minaya, Mogli, Sabio, Torosbros, Vnssa, Wet Hand Dan, plus special guests.
On Friday of weekend two Sage Sessions, sponsored by BooHoo & Matrix Sessions, has tunes by Dances with Wolves, Erickavee, Jeremiah Red, Khuz, CVRTMIND, Noise Frenzy, Sabio, and surprise special guests.
Dirty Desert is weekend two Saturday’s event with sounds by Dateless + Strange Club, NoShirt/ No Shoes DJs, Gotta Dance Dirty DJs, La Muerte, and surprise special guests. RINSE Festival Edition is the last event for the weekend with hits by Gotta Dance Dirty DJs, Matt Black, Sam Hiller, Sabio, and surprise special guests. All events are 21 years and older.
5) Desert Gold 2017
Ace Hotel & Swim Club will be hosting Desert Gold 2017 during both weekends of Coachella. Partnered with B&O by Bang & Olufsen, these weekend events are set for another cosmic, sun-soaked bliss featuring NTS Radio, The Do-Over, Desert Daze, Bears in Space, and A Party Called Ron McNair.
All daylight events are free and open up to the public with RSVP. The Do-Over must be RSVP’d separately. Hotel guest are automatically RSVP’d to free shows and RSVPs are first come, first served and based on capacity. Weekend events are strictly 21 and over, except for guest staying at Ace Hotel & Swim Club.
