The Outlander Sport was designed to appeal to fans of the original Outlander, who prefer a compact, sportier build. With its smaller size and sportier performance, the 2017 Outlander Sport is a great choice for commuters and weekend warriors alike. And while it may lack the extra third row of passenger space found in the Outlander, Outlander Sport drivers still get plenty of cargo space.
In fact, with all of its seats in place, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport actually offers more cargo space than the 2017 Outlander. Behind the second row seat in the Outlander sport is up to 21.7 cubic feet of cargo space. The Outlander, on the other hand, offers only 10.3 cubic feet behind its third row.
