The fifth annual Austin Oyster Festival is almost here! A charity event to benefit the Central Texas Food bank, the Austin Oyster Festival is presented by Jeri’s seafood and HOPE Farmers Market. The event features oysters served raw, grilled, roasted, and fried alongside other delicious seafood and spirits. The event also features Bluegrass and “Newgrass” performances and prize raffles. Austin Oyster Festival Date and Time 2017
The 2017 Austin Oyster Festival will take place on February 25th from 12 pm-6pm at the French Legation Museum. Executive Chef Chris Bauer of Eddie V’s will present a variety of Gulf and East Coast oysters prepared in multiple ways. Seafood sides, Bloody Marys, specialty cocktails, premium wines, beer and water will also be served.
The admission prices for the 2017 Austin Oyster Festival are as follows:
$45 General Admission: Includes entrance fee, liver entertainment, and 5 festival vouchers.
$100 VIP Admission: Includes entrance fee, live entertainment, 7 festival vouchers, accessed to VIP oyster tastings, VIP Deep Eddy Vodka craft bar, perk-filled VIP lounge, and automatic entry into a choice of the prize raffles.
There is no admission charge for children under 12 years of age. Food vouchers can be shared with children. Additional vouchers can be purchased once inside the festival. For more information about the festival, or to purchase tickets, visit the festival website here.
