With CES under way, companies have to show off their new products. Lenovo is one of them, taking the wraps off a brand new smart speaker.
Lenovo has officially announced the brand new Smart Assistant, which is an Amazon Echo-looking smart speaker that also supports Alexa for good measure. That means owners will be able to ask the smart-enabled speaker to play music, answer questions, and more. It’s equipped with far-field microphones, so it should be able to pick up your voice easily enough, even when you’re not right next to it.
The Smart Assistant features a 10W woofer and a 5W treble, and it will retail for $129.99 when it goes on sale in May. Lenovo is also launching a Harman Kardon version of its Smart Assistant, which will be outfitted in an all-black shell and feature a two-inch sound cavity. It will retail for $179.99.
