Kia Motors is back in sunny Los Angeles for the kick off of the much awaited 2016 LA Auto Show! Greeting audiences at the Los Angeles convention center, Kia presents an array of fascinating concept cars and popular iconic models. Take a tour of our show floor and gear up for this exciting event!
Kia’s show floor this year is a sprawling 1,858 m2 and features 29 models from Kia’s ever growing line-up. A selection of popular production vehicles and eco-friendly cars shined in their individual spotlights, dazzling passersby with their innovative and high performance features. The creative concepts that debuted at the 2016 SEMA Show also made their appearance at Kia’s booth.
The 2016 LA Auto Show also marked the North American debut of the turbocharged Kia Soul that was initially unveiled in Paris this September. A sportier version of the Kia box car, the Soul Turbo model drew the attention of the crowds eager for more upgrades of the best-selling vehicle range. This all-new variant, aptly named the Kia Soul Exclaim, is equipped with a powerful new turbo engine, 7-speed dual clutch transmission, distinctive red trimmings and chrome accents for a more aggressive appearance and an added kick in performance.
Other familiar Kia models such as the Kia Rio, Cerato/Forte, Cadenza, Niro and Optima (including the hybrid and PHEV counterparts of the midsize sedan) also are on display.
A slow but sure buzz is building around Kia’s spectacular booth and new models, and we are looking forward to greeting more interested fans and curious spectators this year.
