I LOVE flavored coffee.

Just the smell of a warm vanilla cup brewing away in my coffee maker instantly lifts my mood. I find it comforting and a nice fall afternoon pick-me-up to finish off the work day. It’s usually my go-to drink and I like it hot or cold. I don’t always have time to get out of the house, which is why I love being able to make my own coffeehouse-style drinks at home.

Dunkin’ Donuts® has an amazing Vanilla Cupcake Coffee from their Bakery Series that I really like. It’s almost like eating a cupcake – almost. Most of the time I’ll just brew up a half carafe and enjoy it with some Silk® Vanilla Almond Creamer and drink it hot.

However, if I’m looking to serve it up for dessert or as an afternoon treat – I’ll do something a little bit fancier for myself or my guests. I do it by combining dessert and coffee into one!

I also use a Silk® Vanilla Almond Creamer which this drink a nutty hint of flavor and is perfect for those who might have a dairy allergy. Here’s how you can make your own blended coffee at home:

You’ll want to brew your coffee a little bit stronger than usual to get that full coffee flavor you love. I don’t usually drink my coffee with sweetener, but you can add agave nectar, sugar, honey or anything else you’d like! Double or quadruple the recipe if you have guests and plan on doing some fall entertaining. This would also be perfect for Halloween night.
