Looking to add a bit of sparkle to your holiday entertaining plans?
I like adding a bit of fresh or frozen fruit to a cold sparkling beverage to give it a bit more excitement when I have guests over for dinner. DASANI® has released these Sparkling Slim Cans which come in a convenient 12oz 8-pack. My new favourite flavor is DASANI® Sparkling Black Cherry.
Here’s how I like to serve it up:
I start with frozen cherries that I will either chop up or use whole. Frozen fruit is a great way to keep your drink cold without adding ice – which can dilute your bubbles if you like your drink really fizzy. I then grab a lime and slice a round wheel to garnish the glass and add a few chopped up bits into my glass.
I then add my DASANI® Sparkling Black Cherry beverage and my drink gets a soft pink glow from the frozen cherries. You can also add a squeeze of lime if you like a stronger citrus flavor. It’s a refreshing drink pairing I like to enjoy with a meal.
Make sure to add a pretty straw and use a tall glass
BLACK CHERRY SPARKLING LIMEADE
serves 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can DASANI® Sparkling Black Cherry Beverage
- 5 frozen cherries, chopped or whole
- 1 lime, halved
- Ice (optional)
PREPARATION
- Chop or drop your frozen cherries into a tall glass filled with ice.
- Cut a round lime wheel to garnish your glass.
- Chop up a few pieces of lime to add to your glass. Give your drink an extra squeeze of lime juice if you prefer a stronger lime flavor.
- Add DASANI® Sparkling Black Cherry Beverage.
- Serve + enjoy!
