Upcoming Music Festivals in Texas
Sun City Music Festival | Celebrate the Labor Day weekend with two days and three stages of dance music from in-demand international talent. This summer will be the sixth year of the Sun City Music Festival. On both Saturday and Sunday, the music starts at 5 pm and ends at 2 am. Headliners include Skrillex, Kaskade, The Chainsmokers, and Galantis.

Oaktopia | Named the best festival of 2015 by the Dallas Observer, Oaktopia explores and celebrates art, music, and culture. For its fourth year, the festival will host a variety of events during the festival that display the vibrant culture of Denton. Oaktopia promises it is more than just a music festival. Headliners include Rae Sremmurd, Beirut, Dr. Dog, Best Coast, and Cat Power.

Austin City Limits Music Festival | Known as the live music capital of the world, the ACL music festival features eight stages, more than 130 bands, local food, and activities for the whole family. The event takes place over two weekends, from 11 am to 10 pm each day. Headliners include Radiohead, Mumford and Sons, Kendrick Lamar, and LCD Soundsystem.
Dates: September 30-October 2 and October 7-9 | Location: Zilker Park – Austin, TX
Sound on Sound Fest | Founded by Fun House Services, Sound on Sound fest is a brand new festival based in central Texas. SOS Fest aims to transform the typical festival experience for guests, focusing on a entertainment variety, including comedy and live panel discussions. Headliners include Beach House, Explosions in the Sky, Phantogram, and Run the Jewels.
