2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Features and Changes
Like all the Mitsubishi Lancer models before it, the 2017 Lancer continues to be one of the only cars in its class to come with all-wheel drive. That combination of all-weather capability and sporty style make the Lancer a great choice for Chicago area drivers. The Lancer’s 2017 update isn’t a major one – it’ll still have the same 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter engines, and the same basic body design. However, it’s getting a big tech and feature upgrade! Here’s what’s new:
- A backup camera will be standard on every 2017 Lancer.
- The 2017 Lancer will also get a brand new standard audio system, featuring a 6.1″ touch display and Digital HD Radio.
- The entry-level Lancer ES is now available with stylish new 16” two-tone alloy wheels. We’ll also see a brand new set of 18” two-tone alloy wheels on the Lancer SE and SEL.
- Optional Sun and Sound packages make two of the most popular Lancer features – a sunroof and a deluxe 710-watt Rockford Fosgate speaker system – more widely available in the 2017 lineup.
