From the seller’s description:
1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sprint Veloce, Car was bought from original owner in South Carolina in 1989.
It was driven until 1998 when the engine and transmission were rebuilt by an Alfa shop in Charlotte NC. The car was driven approximately 1800 miles before it was stored, inside. It was recently brought out of hibernation and the fluids, tires, battery, one front brake disk and the clutch slave cylinder replaced. There are still a few minor items to clear up but it runs sweetly and reliably. At some point, the original Spica mechanical Fuel Injection became unreliable and it was replaced by Del’Orto carburetors. All of the FI parts come with the car, in case the new owner wants to restore it. Also, the car has a CD ignition system, which can also be easily removed. The ODO shows just under 50,000 miles but the cable was kinked during the transmission work and it failed, right before going into storage. There is on tiny rust spot just fore of the driver’s door and some really minor bubbles near the windows on both doors. This is easily repaired.
