Chicago 4th of July Fireworks Schedule 2016
Downtown Chicago – Navy Pier’s spectacular fireworks show kicks off at 9:30 PM on the 4th of July. Arrive early to beat the crowds, or head down to your favorite lakefront spot.
North Chicago – The Naval Station Great Lakes 4th of July celebration is a two-day-long affair. On Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th, enjoy live music and carnival rides from 3 PM – 10 PM. The fireworks start at 9:45 PM on the 3rd, and 3:30 PM on the 4th.
Arlington Heights – At Arlington Park Racetrack, the annual 4th of July fireworks show begins at dusk.
Berwyn – The Berwyn fireworks are back! Celebrate a day early on Sunday, July 3rd, with fireworks beginning at 8:30 PM.
Downers Grove – The Downers Grove/Village of Woodridge Independence Day fireworks show starts at approximately 9:30 PM on the 4th of July, at 75th Street and Lemont Road.
Evanston – The City of Evanston’s lakefront fireworks show takes place at Clark Street Beach starting at 9:15 PM on the 4th of July. Tune your radio to 90.5 to follow along!
La Grange – the La Grange Field Club will be shooting off fireworks on the 4th, starting at 9:15 PM.
Oak Lawn – The Oak Lawn Star-Spangled Celebration takes place at the Richards High School field. DJ entertainment begins at 7:00 PM, with the fireworks show starting at twilight.
Lisle – At Lisle Community Park, the world-famous Eyes to the Sky Balloon Festival is going on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. See colorful hot-air balloon launches, flights, and evening balloon glows, along with carnival rides, food and drink, craft booths, a kids’ area, and live music. Fireworks shows are scheduled for 9:45 PM on all 3 nights of the festival.
Oak Park – 4th of July fireworks start at dusk, in the football stadium of Oak Park and River Forest High School.
Orland Park – the Village of Orland Park’s annual Centennial Park fireworks show kicks off at 9:15 PM.
