T-Mobile announces a gaming-centric Binge On expansion

T-Mobile is notable for finding ways to differentiate itself from the other carriers. One of the ways in which it does that is through its myriad of programs, including Binge On, T-Mobile’s free service that allows customers to stream video through select providers without impacting the customer’s data allotment. The company frequently expands its content provider list and today brings in another expansion that tends towards gaming. Check out the list of new providers:

  • Azubu
  • Dailymotion Games
  • Eyegroove
  • PBS
  • PBS Kids
  • YouTube Gaming

With half of this expansion focused on game streaming services, it’s clear that this is an area that T-Mobile is shoring up with Binge On. While the service is close to reaching 90 different providers, it still remains controversial to some due to its downgrading streaming quality in order to lessen its impact on network performance. Nonetheless, customers are certainly using the service, as over 500 million hours of video have been streamed through Binge On. We’ll keep you in the loop with further Binge On expansions.
