Samsung Smart Glow is a feature that will be available in the upcoming Galaxy J2 2016, and it’s pretty awesome. It’s a ring around the camera that illuminates like a notification LED and can be configured to show specific notifications.
Additionally, but Smart Glow can assist you with taking rear camera selfies. It will illuminate when the device detects your face in the shot, and a photo is taken moments later. This way, you’ll know if you’re pointing your device in the right direction.
Notification LEDs have always been neat, especially when they’re customizable, and a rear-facing LED would be a great addition. Hopefully it’ll make an appearance on the Galaxy Note 7!
