It might need a little work here and there to get into show-worthy condition, but this two-family 1987 Dodge Shelby Charger GLHS for sale on Hemmings.com appears to be all original and able to hit the road at a moment’s notice, not bad for a 1-of-1,000 car that’s one of the less recognized products of Shelby and Dodge’s Eighties fling. From the seller’s description:
The original owner bought this GLHS in Balitmore Maryland. My son bought it from original owner in October 2007 with 74K miles and drove it for a short period and then traded to me. It currently has under 80K miles. I have kept the tags on the car for the last 7 years to take it out every few months for a drive. The car is in nice shape and runs well. It does need a paint job and has a couple of minor door dings It also needs a new seal for the Sunroof, the headliner is sagging and the floor heat damper gets stuck. Many extras go with the car There are too many to list but some are; 3 extra Shelby Le Mans Rims (in addition to the 4 on the car with low mileage KUMHO tires), 5 extra Original Shelby Rims, two extra used steering wheels, two extra used Koni Struts (one needs rebuild), brand new Dynomax muffler, brand new HP catalytic, etc. I need to sell everything as one package.
