2017 Honda Ridgeline Standard Features and Arrival Date

Since the Honda model’s last release in 2014, the all-new 2017 Honda Ridgeline has been redesigned to meet the needs of traditional pickup buyers with major upgrades to towing and handling performance, body design, and feature options. 2017 Honda Ridgeline Performance and Features

Under the hood, the all-new pickup truck will get a 3.5L V6 engine with direct injection, coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Power output has been rated at 280 horsepower with 262-lb-ft of torque. Regarding fuel economy, the Ridgeline will offer class-leading efficiency with 19 city/26 highway MPG* in two-wheel drive configurations and 18 city/25 highway MPG* in all-wheel drive configurations.

The Ridgeline also offers an array of available technology features, including lane departure warning, a collision-mitigation auto-braking system with pedestrian detection, rear cross traffic alert, and automatic high beam assist headlamps. A rear camera is standard in the new truck and drivers will have access to either Honda’s Lanewatch blind-spot camera or a conventional, sensor-based blind-spot monitoring system depending on trim level.

Key features of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline:

Truck-Bed Audio System: Innovative technology turns the entire bed of the Ridgeline into an audio system, allowing users to play music from any source or control remotely with a Bluetooth enabled device.

Dual-Action Tailgate: In addition to the traditional fold-down tailgate, the tailgate also opens sideways for easier access to the bed. This feature is unique to the Ridgeline.

In-Bed Trunk: Keep your personal items safe in the large and lockable Ridgeline in-bed trunk or fill it with ice to transform it into a cooler for the ideal tailgating experience. No worries — the trunk is equipped with a drain plug.

Rear Seat Versatility: The rear seats in the Ridgeline can be folded up to fit larger items like a TV or a bicycle. Even with the seats folded down, there is still enough space underneath to store plenty of cargo.
