Why does this press release matter? Because finally, Can-Am is letting Spyder riders wag the rear end with the introduction of Sport Mode on the F3-S models. This likely won’t do much to sway diehard detractors from liking the Spyder, but it’s a step in the right direction if you ask us. More details below. -TS
New for 2017 within the Can-Am Spyder F3 family is the introduction of the Can-Am Spyder F3-S with SPORT Mode. SPORT Mode allows the driver to perform controlled rear tire spins, which enhances the fun factor while maintaining vehicle stability. SPORT Mode is activated by the driver, at which time the gauge displays SPORT Mode and Traction Control System (TCS) deactivated.
Highlighting the Can-Am brand connection to auto racing, BRP is introducing the 2017 Can-Am Spyder F3-S Daytona 500 Edition featuring SPORT Mode.
