Older versions of Android are still pretty dominant on Google’s side of the fence, with KitKat still present on roughly 1/3 of all Android devices. Devices running 5.0 and up still account for less than 50% of these devices, although things are trending in the right direction with Marshmallow growing and 5.1 holding steady.
