You can now quickly share Tweets in direct messages

Twitter has flicked the switch on a new feature today that makes it simple to quickly and privately share Tweets to your friends. Starting today, Tweets have an extra message shortcut on them. Tapping this button will prompt you to share that Tweet with someone directly through a Direct Message.

Last year, Twitter has seen private messaging grow rapidly along with people sharing Tweets privately. Feedback has been asking for a way to do this quicker and easier, so that’s what this new feature addresses.

The update is live on the Play Store, so if you want to get started simply update your app.
