Full resolution camera samples from the Xperia X has been posted online, showing all that the smartphone’s new 23-megapixel rear sensor can do.
Sony announced the new Xperia X series earlier this year, also revealing that the new range of devices would become available in the summer. Unfortunately, Sony also announced the death of the Xperia Z series, as the Xperia X series will be replacing it.
Recombu was recently able to get a review unit, and has been posting their impression of the device over at their website. Sony is planning on making a big push in the US with its new Xperia X series. That said, if you’re in the market for a smartphone with a great camera, these sample photos might just help you make up your mind.
One of the strange things about the new Xperia X is that Recombu says it’s not capable taking 4K video. It’s quite surprising considering Sony’s last flagship was capable of the technology. Sony didn’t make any mention of 4K video when the handsets were announced, so it’s not surprising at the same time.
You can check out the full resolution camera samples below, but for Recombu‘s full Xperia X camera review, be sure to hit the source link right after the photos.
