The company’s own mobile payments service is supported by more merchants worldwide because of its ability to work with old and new terminals. Additionally, the company has offered big promotions for anyone who uses Samsung. Support and incentives are what has allowed Samsung Pay to be successful despite only working on Samsung’s phones.
On Friday, Samsung rolled out a new promotion for anyone who has Samsung Pay but never used it.
Samsung is giving those who have hesitated motivation to start using its mobile payments service. If you’re eligible, make three purchases with Samsung Pay and you’ll get a $30 gift card. The companies participating to give you that $30 gift card are Best Buy, GameStop, eBay, and Regal Entertainment; however, you can make the three purchases anywhere you’d like. Samsung Pay will register your purchases and forward a notification for you to choose your gift card.

Wondering if you’re eligible? People with Samsung Pay already installed and ready but not used ever before are who Samsung is targeting. Even if you don’t have Samsung Pay installed, you’re not eligible to get a $30 gift card after three purchases. It’s exclusive for people who have been on the fence about using Samsung Pay.
The promotion for a $30 after three purchases ends on May 10 or while supplies last. Samsung Pay works on the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 Edge.
