It’s called the “X-Car,” and it doesn’t take long to figure out why. Kia has developed a new Sportage with an X-Men theme.
The car was developed in collaboration with the new film X-Men: Apocalypse. This Sportage is inspired by the X-Men character Mystique, a shape-shifting mutant played by Jennifer Lawrence in the new film. The Sportage features custom-designed bodywork with a special textured tone-on-tone matte and gloss blue paint with red and yellowing highlights and racing wheels and tires.

Kia will be revealing the new car on January 4 with a new video featuring brand ambassador Rafael Nadal. The X-Car will debut at the start of the 2016 Australian Open, and will be displayed at Melbourne Park throughout the the entire tournament, which runs from January 18 to January 31.
Following the Australian Open, the X-Car will go on tour to various automotive events throughout the world leading up to the release of X-Men: Apocalypse in May of 2016.
2016 Kia Sportage
The 2016 Kia Sportage adds some sport to the compact crossover SUV class. The Sportage offers 260 horsepower and 21 city/ 28 highway miles per gallon. The 2016 Sportage earned a four-star government crash test rating. The Sportage is available in all wheel drive, if added tractions is desired. Other available safety features include emergency and roadside assistance, stolen vehicle tracking, geo-fencing and speed tracking.

A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display is available on the Sportage. With the rear seats down, the 2016 Sportage offers 54.6 cubic feet of storage space.
