Facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cars Spotted

Mercedes-Benz S-Class spy shot

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan gets mid-cycle changes in its fascia.

A new spy video reveals that the current Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan is undergoing mid-cycle facial changes. A video posted in YouTube shows not one but three updated S-Class units being tested at the Mercedes facility in Germany. Noticeable in the clip is the lack of camouflage wraps in all three cars.

At a quick glance, the changes are easy to miss despite the absence of a camo. The distance between the one taking the video and the car also makes the upgrades hard to discern. The sunlight bouncing on the glossy black body of the auto contributes to it too.

However, looking closer as the cars approach the camera would reveal a new pair of headlights as well as new tail lights in Mercedes’ flagship luxury car. The shape of the lights appears to be the same with the ones equipped in the present S-Class, but the bulbs within it somehow indicate a new design.

The bumpers, hood, and front grille, which are usually touched during a mid-cycle facelift look almost the same with the ones found on the existing sedan model of the S-Class.

With the S-Class convertible unveiled not so long ago, the likely world premiere of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class might be at the latter half of 2016.

For now, as we wait for further updates about this subject, let’s enjoy first the spy video shown below of the facelifted S-Class that was released only recently:
