A new Subaru Impreza Sedan Concept will make its debut at the Los Angeles auto show on November 19, Australian time, and is said to preview the next-generation four-door sedan.
The new Impreza Sedan Concept follows hot on the heels of the Impreza 5-Door Concept, which was unveiled last month at the Tokyo motor show.
Judging by the darkly rendered teaser image that Subaru issued today, the new Impreza concept will feature smoothed out, jazzed up styling that’s meant to be broadly indicative of the new Impreza sedan, which could debut as early as next year.
At the Tokyo motor show, Manoru Ishii, design and advanced product planning manager at Subaru, told CarAdvice that “the next Impreza needs to be more emotional” and that it “needs to be fun, sportier and faster [looking]”.
Spy photos that we’ve recently published of both the next-generation Impreza sedan and hatch show that the upcoming production vehicles will be more practical than their concept counterparts, although many design details are still hidden behind layers of cladding and camouflage.
