I love it every time I receive new stuff from Kahn Design's PR people. I get material pertaining to chunky, tough, Tonka toy looking 4x4s that look even more chunky, tough Tonka toy than before. This time around we have the Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI 90 with what Kahn calls the 'Chelsea Wide Track' spec. I have featured this specification a couple of times but since the pics make the Defender 90 Chelsea Wide Track look even better, let's do it again.
Do take a read of the PRESS RELEASE below for the vehicle's specs:
To accommodate entry and exit for passengers, new side steps were installed on each side of the Defender.
New extended front and rear wheel arches with exposed bolt apertures, side and bonnet vents and a front bumper sump guard exude luxury.
A new front bumper replacement incorporates new daytime running lights and shadow chrome headlights - sitting between the new lights is a colour-matched X-Lander grille, whilst the finishing touch is a new Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover at the rear.
The stylish and rugged look of the Land Rover Defender 2.4 TDCI 90 Pick Up Chelsea Wide Track is apparent below the waistline thanks to the introduction of a set of 8"x18" 1983 RS Defend wheels in Satin Black complete with 265/65/18" tyres.
Inside, the Land Rover Defender gets a lavish touch, both the front seats were swapped out for more supportive Sports GTB seats trimmed in quilted and perforated leather.
A new Kahn billet steering wheel and vented foot pedals in machined aluminium ensures occupants will receive a more engaging driving experience. The final touch is a new Churchill time clock integrated into the dashboard.
The new Silver Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI Hard Top Chelsea Wide Track is available for 25,875.00. Clients can also have their Land Rover Defender tailored to their exact specification.
