Maybe I’ll go easy on you the end of this rough snowy week with a photo of Texas, no snow there, right? Except this one time in the 1940s, in Austin, as we can see from this Neal Douglass photo on the Portal to Texas History. Not many cars on the road – we’re guessing most of the drivers didn’t really know how to navigate the snow, so they elected to just leave the cars parked – but we at least have a few to check out.
