2017 Kia Sportage Redesign
Kia first gave us a look at the new Kia Sportage back in August, and now the company is set to reveal all the details on the new crossover at the LA Auto Show. The 2017 Kia Sportage features a complete redesign from the models of previous years.
The 2017 Kia Sportage has a more rounded exterior, but keeps the distinctive Kia grille. The new Sportage is 1.6-inches longer than the previous generations. The wheelbase is 1.2-inches longer while maintaining the same width. The larger size helps to increase the cabin space of the Sportage. New materials and technologies help to update the interior of the Sportage.

The 2017 Sportage will be the first Kia to offer UVO3, featuring 14 telematics services, 8 GB of music storage, access to apps and Wi-Fi capability. All of these features will be offered free of charge.
Kia has added a more premium feel to the interior of the 2017 Sportage. The cabin is available in two different color schemes, a single-tone black or a two-tone dark and light grey or black and beige.
2017 Kia Sportage Features
The 2017 Kia Sportage will be available in three trim lines, the LX, EX and SX Turbo. The LX and EX utilize a 181 horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The SX turbocharges the engine, upping the horsepower to 241. All engine options have been tuned to maximize fuel economy. All wheel drive will be an available option.

The 2017 Kia Sportage will have several available safety features, including autonomous emergency braking, a lane departure warning system, blind spot detection with lane change assist and rear cross traffic alerts.
